Yuan Media AI is available as a Progressive Web App for readers, community teams, cultural organizations, and public-service users. Installation does not change the existing Traditional Chinese Taiwan edition or any government website.

No access to another website is required
Installing the PWA does not modify a township office website and does not require its hosting, DNS, or content-management credentials.
Official sources remain authoritative
AI supports explanation and navigation. Official alerts and their issuing agencies remain authoritative for evacuation, road closures, and public decisions.

Three device-specific paths
Chrome or Edge on Windows and macOS
- 1. Open Yuan Media AI in Chrome or Edge.
- 2. Select the install icon in the address bar, or choose “Install app” in the browser menu.
- 3. Confirm installation.
Chrome on Android
- 1. Open this page in Chrome, not an in-app browser.
- 2. Open the Chrome menu.
- 3. Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen.”
Safari on iPhone and iPad
- 1. Open this page in Safari.
- 2. Select the Share button.
- 3. Choose “Add to Home Screen,” then confirm.
Google Play closed testing
The Android listing may be distributed through an existing closed test. Access depends on the tester account and invitation already configured in Google Play. This English page does not change the package name, signing key, version code, TWA settings, or testing track.
Privacy and permissions
Installing the app does not grant access to private cultural data or another organization’s systems. Features that use location, camera, microphone, notifications, or file uploads require the user’s browser permission at the point of use. Cultural and personal data remain subject to authorization, purpose limitation, and human governance.
Offline content is never presented as a current alert
The PWA may cache interface assets. Current alerts, weather, water levels, roads, AI responses, uploads, and health-related information require a live connection and must be checked against official sources. Yuan Media AI does not replace emergency authorities or provide medical diagnosis.
