After scanning all 55 Indigenous Peoples areas and plains Indigenous township districts across Taiwan, the venues meeting the site update threshold are "Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency managed forest recreation area preemptive closure, suspension of operations, and halt access," as well as the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration announcement for partial counties/cities to stop work/stop class on July 10.

Northern region: New Taipei Wulai, Taoyuan Fuxing, Hsinchu Jianshi, Hsinchu Wufeng, Miaoli Nanzhuang, Miaoli Tai'an and other Indigenous township areas need attention; the stop-work/stop-class scope includes Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, and Miaoli County. The Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency announcement covers Tengzhi continuing closure, Kuaigu Lodge and Gao Ping Natural Trail preemptively closed from 17:00 on July 9, as well as Kenting and Shuangliu from 8:00 a.m. on July 10.

Eastern region: Yilan Datong, Yilan Nan'ao, Hualien Xiulin, Wanrong, Zhuoxi, and Hualien plains Indigenous township districts need attention; the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration announced Yilan County and Hualien County to stop work/stop class on July 10. Taitung Beinan, Yanping, Haiduan, Daren, Jinfeng, Taimali, Dawu, Lanyu and other Indigenous township areas currently show no county-wide stop-work/stop-class announcements, but still need to monitor eastern sea surface, mountain roads, flights/ships, and local notifications. The Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency announcement covers Taiping Shan, Taiping Shan Bump Car, Chinan, Fuyuan, Zhiben, Xiangyang, Jiaming Lake related lodges and natural trails.

20:16 Update: Chiayi and Taichung Branches Add Venue Closure Information

Taiwan Mountain Forest Leisure Network added a Chiayi Branch announcement on July 9: Alishan National Forest Recreation Area, Mian Yue Line, Taiwan Pleione Nature Reserve, and natural trails will be preemptively suspended from 8:00 a.m. on July 10; if the Chiayi County government announces stop-work/stop class, or the venue is located in a typhoon alert zone, Aogu Wetland Forest Park and Chukou Nature Education Center will also close.

Taichung Branch announced on the same day: Wuling National Forest Recreation Area preemptively closed at noon on July 9; Daxueshan and Basianshan National Forest Recreation Areas from 5:00 p.m. on July 9; Guguan Seven Heroes, Yuanzui-Shaolai Mountain, Heng Ling Shan, Defu Lan and other 13 natural trails also closed at 5:00 p.m. on July 9.

03:29 Update: Stop-Work/Stop-Class Scope Maintained, Debris Flow Red/Yellow Alerts Still Zero

Directorate-General of Personnel Administration 2026 July 10 03:29:03 update indicates Keelung City, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Yilan County, Hualien County, and Lienjiang County will stop work/stop class today. Those directly related to Indigenous township areas include New Taipei Wulai, Taoyuan Fuxing, Hsinchu Jianshi, Hsinchu Wufeng, Miaoli Nanzhuang, Miaoli Tai'an, Yilan Datong, Yilan Nan'ao, Hualien Xiulin, Hualien Wanrong, Hualien Zhuoxi, and Hualien plains Indigenous township districts.

Currently the Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation debris flow and large-scale landslide alert statistics remain red 0, yellow 0; therefore this site marks it as monitoring / observation alert, not a red alert.
