Information time: August 26, 2026, 00:05, based on the Agency of Rural Development and Soil and Water Conservation's August 25 21:30 Report No. 24 for the 0822 heavy-rain event, current Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency notices, the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration's August 25 23:44 update, Taiwan Railway Corporation's latest August 25 notice, and current Central Weather Administration warning and typhoon information.

Major official change: ARDSWC Report No. 24 lists zero debris-flow `red` alerts and zero `yellow` alerts nationwide, and zero large-scale-landslide `red` alerts and zero `yellow` alerts. The 32 debris-flow yellow alerts and one large-scale-landslide yellow alert that remained in Pingtung in the previous report have all been lifted. No ARDSWC soil-disaster red or yellow label should be carried forward.

Northern Indigenous areas: Wulai in New Taipei, Fuxing in Taoyuan, Jianshi and Wufeng in Hsinchu, and Nanzhuang and Tai'an in Miaoli have no debris-flow or large-scale-landslide red or yellow alerts in Report No. 24 and remain under `monitoring`. The existing water restriction at Jiujiu Lodge on the Daba route remains a `public-service watch`, not a township-wide water outage.

Central Indigenous areas: Heping in Taichung, Ren'ai and Xinyi in Nantou, and Alishan in Chiayi have no soil-disaster red or yellow alerts in Report No. 24. Provincial Highway 18 at kilometer 72+200 in Alishan has reopened, and the Alishan Forest Railway main line plus the Zhushan, Zhaoping, and Shenmu branch lines resume service on August 26, so the earlier transport-interruption watch is cleared.

Southern Indigenous areas: Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung all show zero debris-flow red and yellow alerts and zero large-scale-landslide red and yellow alerts in Report No. 24. The personnel-administration page at 23:44 still lists work-and-class suspensions on August 26 for Dewen and Dashe villages in Sandimen Township and for Chunri Township; these are `work-class suspension / watch`, not soil-disaster red alerts. Taiwan Railway Corporation says repairs between Fangshan and Fangye are complete and South Link Line service returns to normal on August 26, so the previous `transport / watch` is cleared. However, the Pingtung Branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency says Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area, Kuaigu Lodge, Mount Beidawu, Jinshuiying National Trail, and other Kaohsiung-Pingtung natural trails remain closed, so the `public-service watch` continues.

Eastern Indigenous areas: Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung have no debris-flow or large-scale-landslide red or yellow alerts in Report No. 24. The Wanli River landslide-dammed lake in Hualien still carries a separate formal `red` alert inside the mapped river channel, while the yellow alert outside the channel has been lifted. This red applies only to the officially mapped channel and must not be expanded to Wanrong Township or all Hualien Indigenous areas. Because of Typhoon Saudel, the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency Yilan Branch says Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area and its eight internal trails, along with 10 community trails including Nanao Historic Trail, will close from 17:00 on August 26. Taipingshan affects Datong Township and Nanao Historic Trail affects Nanao Township, so these are `public-service watch` items. The Taitung Branch says Zhiben National Forest Recreation Area reopens on August 26, while nine natural trails including Jiaming Lake National Trail, Dawu Scenic Trail, and the eastern section of Jinshuiying National Trail remain closed.

Weather and water conditions: The Central Weather Administration's heavy-rain warning page currently lists no active county warning. Typhoon Saudel remains under official tracking; the administration's August 25 14:00 analysis said there was a chance of a marine typhoon warning on the afternoon of August 26. This supports `monitoring / watch` only and must not be labeled as an already issued marine warning. This scan found no new Level-1 inundation alert affecting Indigenous areas.

Alert levels and action: The site's overall `displayLevel` remains `red` for one reason only: the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency's formal red alert inside the mapped Wanli River channel remains active. ARDSWC Report No. 24 has no debris-flow or large-scale-landslide red or yellow alert anywhere. Follow work-and-class suspension notices for Dewen and Dashe in Sandimen and for Chunri; do not enter closed mountain areas in Yilan or Kaohsiung-Pingtung; and check Taiwan Railway Corporation for the latest South Link Line operating status.
