Latest material change: The Highway Bureau announced at 17:40 on September 2 that consecutive heavy rain and a broken 400 mm water pipe caused subgrade loss and subsidence at the Shiniu Creek section of Provincial Highway 26 in Kenting. Emergency works reopened two lanes at 17:00 on September 2, providing one southbound and one northbound lane. The previous condition in which only the northbound outer lane carried one-lane two-way traffic is therefore no longer current. Water, power and roadbed repairs remain under way, and the Highway Bureau expects four-lane service to be restored around September 22. The current classification is `transport / watch`; the highway is not fully interrupted and this is not `red`.

The Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency Pingtung Branch also states that Mount Beidawu National Trail and Kuaigu Lodge reopen on September 3 after trail inspection and lodge water-source repairs. The old trailhead temporarily has no water, so hikers should carry drinking water. This specific `public-service / watch` affecting Taiwu is cleared and returns to safety monitoring. By contrast, Kenting National Forest Recreation Area remains closed on September 3 because standing water has not fully receded and substantial mud remains on trails. Shuangliu National Forest Recreation Area remains open, but high stream levels keep its stream-crossing area temporarily closed, so related facilities in Shizi remain `public-service / watch`. The Pingtung Branch says other natural trails will be updated after inspections; sites without a formal reopening notice are not cleared early.

North: Wulai, Fuxing, Jianshi, Wufeng, Nanzhuang and Tai'an remain `monitoring`. The Central Weather Administration currently shows no active county warning entry. Mount Beidawu and Kuaigu Lodge reopen September 3; the Shuangliu stream-crossing area and other Pingtung trails without a formal reopening notice remain `public-service / watch`. For temporary Provincial Highway 20 Route 105 between Meishankou and Xiangyang, this scan found no formal reopening notice superseding the Highway Bureau's August 31 notice that the route would remain closed from September 1, so the Kaohsiung Taoyuan–Taitung Haiduan corridor remains `transport / watch`.
