Affected Indigenous areas and levels:

• Taitung–Lanyu air service: At 03:36 on September 17, Taitung Airport listed all 12 scheduled legs as on time: outbound flights 7501, 7503, 7505, 7515, 7507 and 7511, and return flights 7502, 7504, 7506, 7516, 7508 and 7512. The across-the-board cancellations on September 16 do not carry into today's board, so the route returns to `transport / monitoring`. These are scheduled statuses; actual operations remain subject to the airline's and airport's latest notices.
• Land strong wind: The CWA yellow advisory issued at 22:50 on September 16 remains active through the evening of September 17 for officially listed local areas in Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Pingtung and Taitung including Lanyu and Green Island, plus Penghu. This is `weather / watch / yellow`, not red, and county signals must not be extended to unlisted Indigenous areas.
• Water, slope and barrier lakes: At 03:36, the WRA showed no active inundation, river-level or reservoir-release warning. Baoshan Second, Dapu and Hushan reservoirs remain listed as discharging under `reservoir-release / monitoring` and must not be mislabeled red. No debris-flow or large-scale-landslide red/yellow escalation was found. The forestry page shows zero barrier lakes under warning and three under monitoring, so Wanli Creek remains `barrier-lake / monitoring`.
• Road in Fuxing, Taoyuan: Highway 7 at 48.9K in Daman remains closed after a slope failure under `transport / watch`. The Directorate General of Highways had expected reopening at 08:00 on September 17, subject to weather and slope stability; do not enter the controlled section without a formal reopening notice.

Nationwide assessment:

• North: Officially listed local areas in Miaoli remain under yellow wind watch. Taoyuan has left the wind advisory, but the Highway 7 Daman closure in Fuxing continues. No new heavy-rain, severe-thunderstorm, level-one inundation, slope-alert escalation, evacuation, shelter, school closure or utility disruption was found.
• Central: Officially listed local areas in Taichung remain under yellow wind watch, while the heavy-rain watch for Alishan and the Chiayi mountains has ended. No new level-one inundation warning, road or bridge disruption, slope escalation, evacuation, shelter or public-service change was found.
• South: Officially listed local areas in Pingtung remain under yellow wind watch, not red. Heavy-rain watches for Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung have ended. No new level-one inundation warning, official rapid-stream-rise warning, slope escalation, transport suspension, evacuation, shelter or major public-service disruption was found.
• East: All 12 scheduled Lanyu round-trip legs are currently listed on time, returning the route to transport monitoring. Officially listed local areas in Taitung, including Lanyu, remain under yellow wind watch, while Wanli Creek remains under monitoring. No new official road, bridge, school, shelter, water or power change was found for other covered eastern Indigenous areas.

At 03:29 on September 17, the DGPA still reported no work or class suspensions. No resident evacuation, shelter opening, school-level closure, major agricultural loss or new major Indigenous-area public-service disruption was found.

Recommended action: Lanyu passengers should reconfirm flight status with the airline before departure. Secure outdoor objects and watch for transport delays in yellow wind areas. Stay out of downstream riverbeds while reservoirs remain listed as discharging. Use an alternate route until Highway 7 at Daman is formally reopened. Official real-time notices govern.
