Affected Indigenous areas and alert levels:

• Southern heavy-rain advisory ended: The CWA heavy-rain page currently lists no active affected areas. Covered Indigenous areas in Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung return from weather / watch to weather / monitoring. This is not the lifting of a red alert.
• Land strong-wind scope narrowed: At 22:30 on September 21, the CWA reissued a yellow signal covering local areas of Taoyuan City, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Pingtung County, Taitung County—including Lanyu—and Penghu County. Yunlin and Chiayi County are no longer in the yellow scope and return to monitoring. The remaining areas stay at weather / watch / yellow, not red, and a county-level local-area signal is not automatically assigned to every Indigenous township.
• Taitung–Lanyu air service: At 00:28, the airport page still displayed the previous day's completed and cancelled results, which is insufficient to determine operations on September 22. The previous day's 14 cancellations are not carried forward; the route is at transport / monitoring pending the latest airline and airport status.
• Water and slope hazards: The Water Resources Agency lists no inundation or river-level alert. Releases at Baoshan Second, Dapu and Hushan reservoirs remain at reservoir-release / monitoring, not level-one inundation or red. No debris-flow or large-scale-landslide red/yellow escalation was found, and the CWA lists no current severe-thunderstorm message.
• Other existing monitoring: Wanli Stream remains at barrier-lake / monitoring. The Daman bypass in Fuxing, Taoyuan remains under access-restriction / watch, with controlled small-vehicle passage from 13:00 to 14:00 daily; it is not fully open.

Nationwide regional assessment:

• North: Local areas of Taoyuan, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County and Miaoli remain under a yellow strong-wind weather / watch; this is not automatically assigned to Fuxing, Jianshi, Wufeng, Nanzhuang or Tai'an. The Daman bypass remains time-restricted, and the Baoshan Second Reservoir release remains at monitoring. No heavy rain, level-one inundation, official rapid-stream-rise alert, slope escalation, evacuation, shelter, work or class suspension, or new public-service disruption was found.
• Central: Local areas of Taichung and Changhua remain under a yellow strong-wind weather / watch; this is not automatically assigned to Heping. Yunlin and Chiayi County leave the yellow scope and return to monitoring. Alishan, Ren'ai and Xinyi remain at monitoring, as does the Hushan Reservoir release. No heavy rain, level-one inundation, Indigenous road or bridge outage, slope escalation, evacuation, shelter, work or class suspension, or public-service change was found.
• South: The heavy-rain advisory for Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung has ended, returning covered Indigenous areas to weather / monitoring. Local areas of Pingtung remain under a yellow strong-wind watch. No level-one inundation, official rapid-stream-rise alert, slope red/yellow escalation, evacuation, shelter, Indigenous road outage, transport suspension or major public-service disruption was found.
• East: Local areas of Taitung County, including Lanyu, remain under a yellow strong-wind weather / watch; the county signal is not automatically assigned to every Indigenous township. Yilan and Hualien are not under a heavy-rain advisory. Wanli Stream remains at monitoring, and no level-one inundation or slope-alert escalation was found.

At 00:23 on September 22, the DGPA reported no work or class suspensions. No resident evacuation, shelter activation, school-level closure, major agricultural-loss warning or new major Indigenous public-service disruption was found.

Recommended action: In yellow strong-wind areas, secure outdoor objects and monitor transport delays. Although the southern heavy-rain advisory has ended, avoid unnecessary nighttime entry into streambeds and unstable slopes. Lanyu passengers should recheck the current day's flight status before departure. Official real-time notices govern.
